Shipping policy
Items are packaged specifically for item protection and integrity throughout the shipping process.
If for some reason the shipping agency damages or loses the product please first try to contact the shipping company then if the issue is not resolved please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the problem.
If an item is damaged we may require verification through out insurance provider which may include an affidavit, photos of the exterior and interior of packing as well as photos or the damaged product. If you do not provide these we have the right to refuse your request for a refund or replacement. Please do not discard your damaged items, nor shipping materials until you have contacted us and your request has been processed.
We do not refund for lost mail, wrong shipping address, or if you changed your mind on the order. If your order is returned to us due to the incorrect shipping address, the buyer is responsible for paying postage back to reship your order.
You have the option to select tracking during checkout. If you do not purchase tracking, your order will be sent by regular mail via USPS First Class Mail without tracking.
If you want to ensure that your order arrives, please purchase tracking with your order. If you do not purchase tracking, we cannot be held responsible for any lost orders.
*Remember, without tracking we cannot assist when items are lost or damaged.

*Remember - Shipping times are after processing, which could take up to 4 business days, but usually not that long.
**INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ**
International orders typically take 1-2 weeks for delivery but can take up to 4-6 weeks (occasionally they become delayed by customs), so please order accordingly.
The price of our products does not include any duties or VAT. Our shop only charges you goods cost and shipping cost. If you are charged with a VAT, you need to pay it to your customs.
In most countries, you have to pay taxes or duties on imported goods. Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes.
The rules are different in every country. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to know the rules, regulations, customs, or rulings of every single country.
If you have to pay import taxes and/or additional duties and sales taxes, then you would have to pay that to the courier upon receipt of the package(s). Unfortunately, we can't calculate this for you and there is no way to pre-pay it and it is not within the law for us to refund or pay this fee.
Once an order has been shipped and accepted by USPS, it is no longer under our control. We are not responsible for mail lost by USPS or any international shipping agency. International orders cannot be returned or canceled once shipped.

**International Shipping VAT**:
- Delivered At Place (DAP). Also called delivered duty unpaid (DDU). Albion Mercantile Co. only takes responsibility for shipping the product, and requires the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees.
